So you want to earn money with twitter? Who is not good. Twitter seems to be one of the most popular social networking machines around, and you can quickly to twitter followers that you can make money out of it. But how to do that. Here are a few ideas.

Firstly, there is direct sales. You can have your followers about this great offer, send tweets or this great affiliate product which, of course, you earn Commission on. you put the link to the offer in your tweet and hope that your followers will click, and even better, buy the product so that you earn Commission.

It is a little tricky to do all this in 140 characters (the maximum length of a ' tweet '), but it is possible if you shorten your affiliate link or product using one of the many shortening tools available online, such as bit.LY or tinyurl.com, budurl.com. Check them out.

You can also use the link in your public profile that people get to see. I'm not quite sure if this everything works. I, however, have any evidence for myself that direct sales work, albeit not with overwhelming success. It is modest. But still modest free money is still pretty good!

The second way to earn money with twitter is to get people to send for a freebie chance. You put a link in your tweet for a CPA (Cost-Per-Action =) offer. CPA could be a whole new topic for you, and you may have to read about it.

With CPA offers you offers that you would earn a small amount, say a dollar. The good thing is that for these listings people often just an e-mail address or ZIP code, and then they get a chance to win an iPod, or winning a certain amount of money free shopping or whatever.

This stuff can do good for you, especially if the offer is related to your interest. This method is similar to the above, but the offer is attractive as it costs nothing for your twitter followers.

The third and final tip I give you is perhaps the best: making money with twitter by giving away a free gift, a report, ebook, video etc. When users their email address in your opt-in box on your website. So you send a tweet with a link to your freebie, and building an email list. You can then later market to that list. Making money from your list is much more lucrative than the direct sale to twitter traffic, although that has worked for me too.

There is an important thing. For one or all of the above methods to work, you must order an adequate amount of targeted (like-minded) twitter traffic to your listings. So first try and build enough of a targeted twitter list in order to be successful.
